The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a young, dynamic university dedicated to providing quality programs and degrees in a flexible and supportive environment. In just over 50 years, USQ has become a prominent teaching and research institution providing education worldwide from three regional locations – Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich.

The Toowoomba region founded USQ out of their passion to provide the best possible educational opportunities for local students. The vision and determination of our local communities has seen USQ grow and expand with a reputation as one of Australia’s leading providers of on-campus and online programs in Australia and overseas.
 

We are proud of our history and the story of our Phoenix, which has always been a part of our identity and remains our most cherished visual asset to this day. The current USQ visual identity was launched in 2012, and has been instrumental in cementing USQ’s reputation as a quality provider of education, contributing to our continued growth in our regions and ensuring we remain successful well into the future.

USQ successfully blends access with excellence and is a leading university for student experience and graduate outcomes. USQ aims to demonstrate leadership and innovation in the quality of the student experience and to be a source of graduates who excel in the workplace and develop as leaders.
 

The University of Southern Queensland is located in Queensland and has about 27,000 students, including more than 8,000 international students, with a total of three campuses.

The Business School is one of the largest and most prestigious business schools in Australia, with more than 7,000 students, including 1,300 international students. In addition, the school is the first business school in Australia that has the world’s top three accreditations AMBA (Association of American MBA), AACSB (American Association of Management Schools), EQUIS (European Management Development Foundation) certification, and the only business school in the world. One of the 20 business schools that have these three certificates. Many majors of Queensland University of Technology have also been accredited by various other international authorities. MBA and Applied Finance, as the most famous majors of the college, are in a leading position among the world's business schools.

The uniqueness of the School of Education lies in the perfect combination of teaching and research. The institute’s research ranks among the top 10 in Australia, and its courses are rated as “high quality” by the Institute of Scientific Information. In addition, the college was also designated as the 2006 Australian Institute of Outstanding Education (Australian Research Council Invention Foundation).

The School of Information Technology is one of the pioneers of Australia's information technology curriculum and enjoys an international reputation for its excellent information technology education and research.

The School of Law is one of the largest law schools in Australia. Every year, about 90% of graduates can directly find full-time jobs or continue their studies. The college is in a leading position in Australian legal and judicial professional education.
